What Clients Have to Say

Jeffry M. Finkel

“It is my pleasure both to
commend and recommend Marianne and Safe Harbor Eldercare Services for their comprehensive and exemplary assistance guiding seniors and their families through the complex maze of medical, financial and legal challenges they constantly encounter. With more than twenty years’
experience as a healthcare executive Marianne has access to an excellent network of medical, financial and legal professionals. She also has a strong financial background. Additionally she has a desire to treat every client like they are
family members.

Marianne possesses that rare gift of knowledge, skills, and love of seniors that will provide you and your family with the peace of mind you need especially during those times when helping elderly family members can
seem overwhelming. I am personally aware of a number of people Marianne has helped. Having recently experienced the illness and passing of a close cousin I cannot thank Marianne enough not only for the love and help she provided but for the comfort she provided my family who are many hundreds of miles away. Just knowing she was there to serve as a liaison between my cousin and her doctors was hugely important. She also was constantly updating us on the situation. While most people see issues as problems to be “solved” Marianne through her positive attitude, dogged determination, comprehensiveness, and creativeness views issues simply as “challenges looking for solutions”. Whether you and your elderly
family members live near Marianne or many miles away she will expertly and
compassionately guide you through the process of providing all the necessary
and required services. Thank you, Marianne.”

“I was excited to learn that Marianne Fisher had assembled such a great team and launched Safe Harbor Eldercare Services. Marianne has a strong history of healthcare advocacy and empathy for the elderly, which she’ll take to the next level at Safe Harbor. She has always served with intelligence and heart, and this new opportunity is perfect for combining her knowledge, compassion and organizational skills to assist individual elderly men and women as they struggle to navigate the complexities of eldercare services.

She instinctively recognizes the difficulty of accessing and coordinating appropriate medical, legal and financial services. All the information may be “out there” but making sense of it all, especially when there may be health and technology challenges adding to confusion and stress, is a uniquely valuable skill and service.”

“My husband and I live in Vancouver Canada. My aunt and uncle have lived in Florida for
over thirty years. My uncle passed away about eight years ago and my aunt has been by
herself ever since. I am her closest living relative. She still has an older sister in Europe. My aunt always told me she’d be able to take care of herself. That statement was simply not true. Her health has failed dramatically over the last four years. One day she realized she could not take care of herself.

Family members live thousands of miles away. Although she didn’t want to worry me she didn’t know what to do. Now she was compelled to follow the instructions of professionals who did not pay attention to her questions, feelings, or fears. Neither she nor I understand the language of complicated medical, financial or legal businesses. I reached out to Marianne because I knew she would be able to help my aunt. Can you possibly understand how astounding it is to find a dedicated professional who respects the patient and listens to his/her opinions. She is compassionate not only with the patient but the extended family as well. I am so grateful to Marianne for the emotional relief she has brought to both my aunt and me.”
